“You Gotta Love the Life,” Melissa Manchester’s new single, was Most Added in its first week at Smooth Jazz radio, BDS reports. The propulsive, horn-fueled track celebrates the life that Manchester embarked on some 40 years ago, when she got her start as a founding member of Bette Midler’s Harlettes.

While “You Gotta Love the Life” is Manchester’s most autobiographical song to date, it’s also an anthem for anyone with the hunger to perform and the tenacity to weather the ups and downs of a show biz career. Stay tuned for details about the official video, which Melissa just finished shooting.

“You Gotta Love the Life” is the title track from Manchester’s critically acclaimed new album, which has been hailed as among the finest in the GRAMMY®-winning artist’s illustrious career. Buoyed by reaction to her 2015 live shows, Melissa has extended her tour. Newly announced dates include a December 16 show at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, CA and a series of February 2016 shows in Florida.
